§ 48-361. Temporary uses.

  • (a)

    Temporary uses shall be allowed in all districts in accordance with section 24-5.

    (b)

    Temporary communication towers shall be allowed by the issuance of a zoning permit by the zoning administrator. The permitting of temporary towers, as authorized by this subsection, shall be limited to the replacement and continuation of communication services provided by existing communication towers and/or platforms rendered unusable due to required repair or replacement. Temporary towers may be permitted on the same site as the existing tower or communication platform it is to temporarily replace, or may be located on other developed or undeveloped properties classified C-2 General Commercial District or C-3 Commercial Services District. Temporary towers shall not exceed a maximum height of 100 feet and may utilize guy wires. The permitting of temporary towers shall be for a period not to exceed 18 months.
