§ 42-94. Speed limits.

(a)

Except as otherwise posted, no person shall drive a vehicle on any street of the town in excess of 25 miles per hour.

(b)

When signs have been erected giving notice that a particular speed limit is applicable to a certain street or portion of street as designated on the official traffic maps of the town, as adopted by the board of commissioners, no person shall operate a vehicle in excess of such speed limit.

(c)

Nothing in this section shall be interpreted to permit any person to drive a vehicle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions then existing.
